I have been writing about digital technology ever since the first DSLR cameras emerged on the market and have been fascinated by its staggering rise.
Now, machine learning is changing (almost) everything. But to make the most of its vast transformative potential, we need to engage with it – from knowing how our data is used to grasping the philosophical concepts surrounding AI. Becoming digitally literate is vital for us, as individuals and as a society, to thrive.
If we come together, we can make sure that our creativity and humanity is at the centre of innovation. This is why I feel so passionate about making technology accessible through my writing – whether that’s in my long-form articles for The Independent, copywriting for my software clients, or explaining the principles of machine learning to the local Scout group.
